Welcome to the new Titanic Web Design website. I decided to move on to a new design for several reasons. I wanted to create a more positive impression on people who visit our company's site to better represent our customer service that has evolved over several months. In order to do this, it was decided to use a white background with light shades of gray and primary colors for the most intensive graphics part of the website. Now the site looks friendly, just like our customer service! Rad.
It's surprising how quickly and how simple it is possible to create a neat and inventive effect using modern development technologies. For example the little animated stripe on the captain's hat and the blue flag were created using jQuery, a Javascript library designed to make Javascript programming much easier. This is a great example of how dynamic non-Flash technologies, including HTML5, are going to change things a bit on the forefront of professional web development. No longer do we need to use Flash simply to achieve a neat animation effect. Also there are no extra HTTP requests that often slow down Flash content loading phases. Doing things this way is becoming commonly accepted in today's developer communities.
Interestingly, many people seem to often ignore our company website as an example of our previous work, even though our new site is a perfect example of how we think about building webpages. I hope you enjoyed browsing the new site — it was fun creating it.
